Debt Warning Signs
There are several indicators that reveal when you may have overextended yourself with credit. The most common is the inability to pay your bills on time. If you are constantly receiving late fees and overlimit fees, you are certainly overextended. You may also have a desire to transfer one source of debt onto another source. It is tempting to simply transfer a credit card balance over to another credit card issuer who is soliciting your business. Unfortunately, the debt does not become reduced. You are merely changing the creditor to whom the debt is owed.
